Unlike most structures in the Olympic Park, the Olympic Tower was not built specifically for the 1972 Olympic Games – it was completed in 1968. Standing at just over 291 meters tall, the tower houses a revolving restaurant that completes a full rotation every 53 minutes. Currently, the tower is undergoing renovation and is not accessible to visitors.
